About Me

Hey, I'm James and I am a male counsellor offering person-centred therapy in Glasgow. 

 

I am a compassionate and non-judgemental listener who promotes holding your experience and working alongside you on anything that is on your mind. There is no problem too great, and I aim to create a comfortable and safe space where you can give yourself permission to feel what you need to feel in the moment. 

 

There is a real difference between listening and feeling like you’ve been heard. By focusing on the latter, we can discover what you are truly needing right now and craft your next steps together, even if that sometimes means being challenged gently here and there.

 

My experience includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Work-related stress

  • Relationship difficulties (including family, friends and partners) 

  • Loss, change and transition

  • Abuse 

  • Trauma

  • ADHD, Autism and neurodiversity 

  • Creative block and general feelings of being stuck
